What a VoIP Book Looks Like to a Buyer
Bypass Business Brokers · 6 min
A VoIP business is easy to underestimate from the outside. The office is unremarkable. The value is a list of small firms that pay every month to keep talking.
Buyers who already wholesale voice will ignore the furniture and ask four things.
Seats and numbers
How many paying seats. How portable the numbers are. Whether the wholesale relationship can be assigned or must be rebuilt.
Churn you will admit to
Everyone has churn. Pretending you do not is a fast way to end a private conversation. A buyer would rather hear that a handful of hospitality clients turn over than discover it in the first billing cycle they own.
Support
If you are still the person who resets a handset at 7pm, the file is owner-dependent. That does not kill a sale. It changes the price and the handover.
Adjacent products
UCaaS, CCaaS and mobile dealer books sometimes sit in the same company. Say whether they are one file or three. Mixing them without saying so wastes a week.
