Incomplete Books Still Find Buyers

There is a class of buyer who will not open a file until every invoice ties to a bank line. There is another class who reconstructs the records after they own the customers.

What “incomplete” usually means

Shoebox GST, job records in email, and a MYOB file that only the owner can navigate. Sometimes worse. If you are in a distressed or insolvent-leaning position, get proper advice. A buyer is not a substitute for that.

What still has to be true

Customers exist. They pay, at least often enough. Someone can be taught how to deliver the work. If those are true, incomplete books are a discount, not a brick wall.
